Some of the types of pain our doctors treat

It’s important to understand the pain and be able to communicate well to your doctor so that you can get the right diagnosis and right treatment for the pain. Our practitioners recommend to keep a journal. In it, keep all this complex information about your pain, so that when you come to seek help, you will have the information needed for the best diagnosis and best treatment. Here are some questions you need to ask yourself:

  • Does the pain travel to other parts of the body?
  • Do you have nausea or numbness and weakness along the pain?
  • Has it been throbbing, is it sharp, dull or burning?
  • What makes it better or worse?
  • Is it constant or intermittent?
  • Worse at work or at home?
  • Severity of the Pain — a pain scale of 0 to 10: (0) no pain to (10) worse pain ever.

Our goal is to provide long-term and permanent pain relief when possible. In many conditions, permanent pain relief may not be possible but we will always strive to improve our patients quality of life.

We have also achieved great results in providing long term pain relief from osteoarthritis of large joints including hips, knees & shoulders that last for months. If you have been suffering from back pain, fibromyalgia, arthritis, headaches, neck pain or any other types of chronic pain; Wellness Plus Clinic welcomes the opportunity to show you what sets us apart from other clinics. Even if other medical clinics have not been able to treat your pain, please give us a call. For your long term relief and the best outcomes for a painful condition, your treatment should include understanding and addressing the underlying causes to restore normalization whenever possible. Our doctors consider the whole person when evaluating and treating a patient.

Our pain management program combines traditional medical care (i.e. medication, injections, etc.) with groundbreaking and patented therapeutic technologies which are one of kind .We have found that most patients can feel much better and sustain a higher quality of life than they ever thought possible. We use therapy and injection solutions that provide the most beneficial results, with the least possible side effects. These approaches work most of the time.  If they do not provide the outcome we are looking for, we will then use medications as a last resort.  You will find that the medications work better at lower dosages until they are only needed occasionally or not at all. It has been our experience that a varying combination of medication/injections brings the best pain relief for our patients. In most patients, restoring motion and activity is an integral part of a successful pain management plan.

Pain Management including physical medicine considers the nerves, muscles, and skeletal system along with physiology (how the body is functioning). Health care professionals are learning that there is far more that can and should be done for the effective healing of chronic pain conditions. If you are suffering from pain, we will work to alleviate it as quickly as possible but will try to determine what underlying issues are playing a part in causing your pain. In the end, it’s about giving our patients a better quality of life, and we will utilize every tool available to help them achieve it.
